Turn Off the Modern World

Meditate upon the truth.

The sped-up modern world shifting sideways into chaos, while petty offenses derail vows made with double-minded sincerity. Lacking perspective, the masses rationalize hedonistic actions under the pretense of selfish justifications.

Turn off the modern world, meditate on the truth of our existence. Find the truth by loving it with unselfish motives and sincere desire.

There they are, rattling off another conditioned lie, oblivious of the spiritual manifestation within their cursed souls. Deceived and being deceived, their sins blinding them to reality, demons guiding them into a pit of destruction.

The hive mind-blowing heavy misery in the right-left paradigm; showers of hate wrapped in self-righteous lies. Where it leads is lost on the weak-minded adherents so sure of themselves and the illusions they chase.

The time has come to turn off the modern world, for it is a frequency of deception, a triple-cross betrayal wrapped in a hopeful tomorrow for those who seek to save their lives in this world at the expense of the truth.

What is truth, they ask. If they cared to know, it would be apparent, yet the question is only a defense, a manifested justification of the true hopelessness they hold inside — hearts of wickedness knowing their own demise.

The scene is full of the fruits of wickedness, as millions fall into the pit of despair, after following faceless demons promising them light in the midst of darkness. Believing lies, the masses continue down the road of damnation, blinded by their ambition, their vanity, and their self-righteous lies.

The merciful and patient God above gives each creation time to come to the truth, yet the vast majority only use it to puff themselves up with twisted rationalizations and vain illusions of self-grandeur.

Those who escape the matrix of delusion will find solace in the truth, as they meditate upon it in humble wonder, glorifying their Creator with understanding beyond the illusions of self.

Speeding up with every year gone by, the hive mind is talking a thousand miles per hour. Keeping up with the world becomes a daunting task, seeking to understand the world becomes meaningless.

Seeking and loving the truth becomes the only meaningful activity in a world sold out to the deceiving enemy of our souls. The true light of truth becomes the sole focus for those who die to the world and self daily.

In the midst of the storm of deception, the Truth is with us, remaining available to those faithful who have given up on the world and its lies. This truth comforts our souls, bringing solace amid a perverse and vexing culture/society carefully conceived by the demonic over the brainwashed decades.

They clamor about, creating strife where there is none; the spirit inside drives them to destroy all that is good, in order for them to have the “good life” the deceiver promises. In the end, they find it a lie, a hollow illusion, yet it is too late, the destruction has already been done.

While the deceived masses remain unaccountable in a culture and society full of demonic lies and leadership, in the end, everyone will be solely accountable for their thoughts, behaviors, and actions — there will be no excuse as they finally pay for what they always believed was someone else’s fault.

Don’t be deceived by the demonic spirits working through those who don’t love and seek the truth; don’t follow the hive mind leading everyone into a pit of destruction and misery.

Instead, turn off the modern world and meditate upon the truth; seek and love the truth with a humble heart; be accountable for your thoughts, behaviors, and actions — this is how we will find peace in the storms of deception and illusion that lead to damnation and ruin.

Meditate upon the Truth, the Word of God, the Holy Bible, Jesus Christ, after seeking and loving the truth will all your heart, mind, body, and soul. Then you will see how vain and meaningless this modern world is; then you will have understanding beyond the lies.

Rocky (1976) Movie Review

Duncan Chen/ Flickr One of the best movies of all time. The Genuine Approach It’s hard to believe this iconic American movie was created 50 years ago in 1976, three years before I was even born. It is also hard to believe how well the movie has stood the test of time as one of the best American movies ever made. The entire  Rocky  series of movies, including 6 movies directly about Rocky Balboa (not counting the two  Creed  movies which have him as a secondary character), are amazing movies that inspire the viewer and represent the American dream of working our way up from the bottom to become a success. Although the subsequent  Rocky  movies are great in their own right, none of them compare to the original  Rocky  movie. What makes the original  Rocky  movie one of the best of all time isn’t one thing, rather it is a culmination of a myriad of factors that combined at the right time to give us a genuine, humble, and ever-relatable stor...

The Following Leaders on Medium

I remember one distinct moment during a career development course at a community college I attended 21 years ago when the professor asked us to stand up and do an exercise.  She asked the class to separate themselves into two groups; those who thought of themselves as leaders on one side of the classroom and those who thought of themselves as followers on the other.  This question came without warning at the beginning of the class, so we didn’t have time to think it through. The result was probably more sincere because of this suddenness.  For some context, the class consisted of about 30 students, mostly young adults under 21 YOA; I was about 21 years old. An interesting thing happened.  An Important Life Lesson in Social Perception The vast majority of the class went to the leader side of the class and only two of us went to the follower side. I was one of the followers along with another young man. How awkward; then the professor focused on us followers and ask...

Writing Success Comes from Volume and Quality in Balance

Our success is up to us. Success, as a general term to describe the results that constitute a success in a writer’s mind, as it meets or exceeded our expectations. And volume is how many articles/content pieces it takes for each writer to succeed with various levels of quality involved. Each writer will have their personal goals and ways to measure the results achieved through writing an article. Each writer has differing perspectives on what constitutes quality with a finished product. With these important variables in mind, let’s explore how many articles it might take with a theoretical estimation based upon experience and what I’ve seen in my decades-long online writing journey. Most writers can’t expect to attract a lot of views when writing only one article a month, or 12 a year. They may be able to stay in the game at the base line level and maintain some trickle of income, yet it isn’t the volume needed to reach that level of success to maintain. Still, we must first appreciate...

HubPages vs. Vocal

Gaining Context I opened my account at Vocal around two years ago when I published my first article. It was a syndicated article from my golf blog, which surprisingly has done better than all other articles since. Around three months ago, I decided to give Vocal a real chance with a renewed effort and by becoming a Vocal Plus member. They enticed me with half off a year’s membership ($50 for a year, usually it is $99 annually or $10/month). Since this renewed effort, I have published nine articles; six were written originally at Vocal (four were for Vocal Challenges), and the other 3 were syndicated from elsewhere. The plan for Vocal was to publish my creative writing there originally, which meant I had to switch from HubPages where these were published originally before. The distracting ads and lackluster RPM helped make this decision, although I’ve been writing on HP for over a decade. After three months of “working” Vocal, I’ve realized it isn’t worth paying the $10/month. I’ll expl...
